Pet Release Form

By Leaving my pet in the care of Tidy Tails Grooming, I hereby give my permission for Tidy Tails Grooming to groom my pet and seek emergency medical attention if needed. I understand that every effort will be given to ensure that my pet is not injured while being groomed, but I understand that animals can be unpredictable and very active and that accidents may occur. I also understand that if my pet is SEVERELY MATTED there is a chance of nicks or cuts and clipper irritation that may occur. I will not hold the salon or any of its employees liable in the event that the condition of my pet’s coat or skin results in injury.



Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming and my include but is not limited to skin irritations, allergic reactions, and eye irritation.

ALL PETS must be picked up within ONE HOUR of finishing.  All Pets must be picked up 15 minutes prior to closing. Our hours of operation are 7:00am-3:00 pm Monday- Friday.  A $20 late fee will be applied to anyone who does not promptly pick up or drop off their pets as this greatly affects our groomer’s ability to stay on schedule. If you cannot make your appointment, a 24 hour notice is required. If no notice is received this will count as a “No Call No Show,” after 2 of these a non-refundable fee of 50% of the groom will be required to rebook. Excessive no-shows will result in a required non-refundable pre-payment of all services rendered for all future appointments. Our groomers are paid a commission-based pay, so no shows greatly affect their income.

Matted pets will result in a shorter more manageable haircut.  We reserve the right to refuse to demat pets with extreme matting. Excessive de-matting may result in damage to skin and is very painful to the pet. We believe in humanity before vanity and will not at any point put any pet though a painful de-matting process in order to offer a longer haircut.  If we feel that a tangled coat is able to be brushed out pain free a charge of $5/ 15 minutes of extra brushing will be added to the cost of the groom.

Should there is any concerns or problems that you have with our services, it must be addressed with management within 48 hours of leaving the salon. We will do everything in our power to make it right.
